Reference vs research — how to use both

Use reference pages when you want durable context: what neighborhoods are like, how school zones line up, how demographics trend, and what the market dashboard is showing this week. These sections are meant to be revisited as you narrow a search.

Use research when you want a focused story on a specific question or time window: active reports, sold snapshots, and written analysis tied to a period or submarket. Start from the Research hub, then open a report when its geography and question match yours.

Together, reference orients you and research stress-tests a thesis for a particular slice of the RVA metro.
